Hot cloth cleansers

So first of all you are probably wondering if you don’t know already, what is a hot cloth cleanser? Well let me answer that for you! It is a cleanser in a cream form that you massage onto dry skin over the face and neck and gently wipe of using a cloth in hand hot water. I love hot cloth cleansers as they dissolve all of your makeup and also help to clear, brighten and soften the skin. They are aimed towards all skin types so anyone can use them which is great as you would think that it being a cream texture it would only be for dry skin types. My personal favourites are the REN rosa centifolia and the Liz Earle cleanse and polish hot cloth cleansers.

First I will tell you a bit more about why I love the Liz Earle cleanser so much; I absolutely love the scent of eucalyptus essential oil which is used in the product as it reminds me of a spa so that is definitely a bonus. It is also very refreshing and has health benefits such as it’s anti-inflammatory, decongestant and antibacterial properties there are also many other naturally active ingredients in this product which also have lots of benefits which I wont go into too much detail on such as  antioxidants, moisturisers and astringents. I also admire that the Liz Earle company prides itself on using high quality and safe ingredients, they don’t test on animals or use animal products and they use mostly plant based/natural ingredients in their products. This cleanser is great if you wear mascara as it removes it very well I would say even better than the REN cleanser. Its great for sensitive skin as it doesn’t have any harmful substances and Its also great for clearing up blemishes so it really helps teenage skin and just about everyone really. It definitely helped me with my blemishes and helped to clear my skin whilst removing the day’s stress. It really is wonderful some people say it has changed their life!

Next the REN cleanser which I also like very much as it is also amazing. The REN cleanser is cheaper at £16 for 150ml where as the Liz Earle is £22.50 for 150ml (Bought in a 100ml and 50ml pump) and the good part is that they are very similar as the REN cleanser is also very soothing to the skin, clears the skin and leaves it feeling refreshed and radiant. It is also suitable for all skin types! They also contain some of the same ingredients and share similar philosophy of only using high quality ingredients:

REN uses only 100% plant and mineral derived actives and is free from skin-unfriendly synthetic ingredients” (Detailed on the website)
